New MB rider looking for similar Carlisle/North Cumbria

New MB rider looking for ride buddy Carlisle/North Cumbria area. Managed to avoid MB's to date but decided to give it a try and got new bike, keen to learn/ proress. Tried Whinlatter a few times and 'enjoyed' being dumped from bike into a heap much to the amusement of others. No spring chicken (40 plus) but reasonable fitness.

    Can you get up to Dumfries and do a Stane or 2 or 3?
