Last night - cheek ! ( Duton Adebayoe's show.)

Every Sunday, on Radio 5 Live, there's a Book Show, where you vote for your fav book.
They are on No.50 of 100 so far.

One guy mentioned a book, narrated by "Death" about a young girl.

As they mentioned Katie Prices/Jordans book, I txt in, "It looks like Jordans book will have the Kiss of Death too. Bring back "Janet and John on the Beach" which will be more intellectual.

One female book reviewer, Stephanie, called me "CRUEL".
Truth hurts...

Best album by Metallica was S&M. That went beyond metal into pure art. Amazing stuff.

Look, despite your misgivings (hopefully based on massive doses of prescription painkiller)
"Ernest Hemmingway book that was turned into a film" is not a lot to go on.
It's only slightly less vague than "it was shown at a cinema".

Charlie Brown AND Snoopy AND Tiny, who is the biggest - we didn't name him...

Ok, The Old Man and the Sea!

Last decent book published before his death.

Think I saw somewhere that Hemmingways cats have 6 toes?

I think he's related to Dave "the lemming" Hemming who used to ride for Marin.

Ernest Hemmingway, was one of the last "Real Men"

Spent a great deal of his life writing, but also Big Game hunting, Deep Sea fishing, and writing about things such as the Pamlona bull run. Lived in Cuba/Florida I think.

Real character, apparently, total pisshead, and couldn't give a crap about the Establishment and what others thought of him.

Really "Lived" a ruffty/tuffty lifestyle, no BS kinda guy.

Don't like the blood-sports thing, but hey, whaddaguy!!!

    i like hemmingway!

i read the first 49 stories, death in the afternmoon and the sun also rises.

the best comparisons i can make for hemmingway are steve mcqueen or oliver reed.

Yep reeeeel men, like wot I was brought up to be!!

Mind you, I did like David Bowie, Adam and the Ants and other "strange" artists.

When you've worked in the Iron/Steel industry in Cardiff, and your Dad was into engineering, reeking of MAN SWEAT after a hard day, the "olden" days always look better.

he loves classic motorbikes, owns a shotgun and can skin and gut animals!

Yeah, now it's all Quiche and Frothy coffee, WTF!

No wonder they've had to lower the fitness test levels at certain establishments.
Kids today got NO SPUNK IN EM, unless you count the ones Jacko slept with, of course...

Bloody Mamby Pamby Internet lifestyle, where as me and my mate's were chasing sheep on our bikes across rough landscapes, just for fun, mind you. Not a Welsh "sexual" thing.
