Judging by the shambles at the devil ride feed stations they must have surpassed themselves and already ran out of water!
It’s the most beautiful sport in the world but it’s governed by ***ts who have turned it into a crock of ****.

    Sorry to hear about this.

Bring back Phil 'the Weave'! He was a great organiser of the Epic Events. This year the events are being operated by someone completely different.

This was a great event, it would be a shame if it joined the far too many rip-off / poor-value-for-money /dull sportives in this country

Totally agree, prior to this years Fred Whitton, this was the best event I had
ridden by a long way. I had a feeling once Phil Weaver called it a day, it would all go to rats**t.
    A real shame!!

Top grub at the Horse & Jockey as well

Curiously they have only taken 200 entries out of an advertised field of 800. That is not an unviable size and surely the remaining 600 would fill by October.

I wonder what the story is. Have they pulled the plug?

    Hi

Has anyone got any more information on the Autumn Epic?

Looks like they have 200 entries out of a maximum 800 and have closed the event to new entries 2 month prior to the event

This is a bit strange dont you think?

I have tried to call the number provided but no answer and i have e-mailed the organisers but have had no reply

Is it on or not as i know a handful of people who want to enter and i need to book accomodation

They appear to have re-opened for entries.
