seat clamp size

Does anyone know what size seatclamp i would need for my Boardman i am using a a PRO 27.2 seatpost and have two possible options, a 30.7 or a 31.8, is there a way of me finding out?

    It will almost certainly be a 31.8 if you have a 27.2mm post - FWIW there are only 3 standard sizes of collar - 28.6, 31.8 and 34.9.

    To be certain, either measure your current frame or give Halfords a call - on second thoughts, I'm not sure I'd trust anyone in Halford with an Allen key and a pair of calipers - they'd probably think it's some sort of adjustable spanner :wink:
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    Exactly what i was thinking i would have gone to my mechanic i use but its his day off lol...
