Welcome to the world of tommorrow!!!!!!
well monday even, and the start of another crappy week, no standby days this week for me, I'm the only one in the depot who's had both of my standby days turned into actual work, which is cack, ah well.
At least got the weekend to look forward to, off to Betws y Coed, minus bike though for a pee up at the Vagabond Hostel, for the owner birthday. Promises to be a grand night given the state we were in last time we were there
Right, time to depart though and go and do a bit
ta - ta for now

Fingers and toes and everything else all crossed that CRC dispatch my stuff today.
Other than that, Meh will be a large part of the day.0 -
Am tres tired this morning for some reason, didnt sleep that well, nor that long last night. I have however, had a very dossy weekend with loads of catnaps... so it's not as if I have burend myself out or anything.
I am also hoping that my stuff from CRC and Merlin gets sent out today.
Next week, new wheels for the Cotic - woop woop0 -
Morning morning!
I broke myself snoboarding last night...FAIL. Did an epic faceplant (the most embarassing kind) whist trying (badly) to job around.
Need to go on the hunt for some bubble wrap at work today to package my forks with to send them back to mojo for a repair.
Anyone got any idea how much the postage will be on them, guessing quite a lot as they are pretty heavy :evil:Ride it like you stole it!0 -
I shall be riding to work after finally getting the bike sorted. I started off only needing a chain but have ended up with new deore cassette, xt front mech, Shimano M590 Deore 2 Piece Design Chainset, (went for the 48T version as only one shop would fit it on the same day, earliest was another 10 days) must remember I have slightly less clearance.
As for work, will probably get a ticking off but hey who cares. might go down the pub for lunchtime with a friend, something tells me she's a tad upsetMissBint37 wrote:Morning morning!

depends how you're sending them. if they weigh less than 10kg you can send them special delivery with the max cost being £20.65 but I suspect you'd be going with a courier. I'd suspect around £70 to £100 with a decent company.
There are cheap couriers that people use on here but can't remember any of em0 -
I think they weight 2kilos ish.Ride it like you stole it!0

Goooooooood Morning Freaks!
Today, I'm watching the clock count down to 12:00, then I'm off to, as all the cool kids say "Shred some Gnarcore" or some such thing... I'm meeting with Homer's Double at Cwm Carn and hitting the Twrch Trail.
So, unusually, Monday's going to be pretty awesome this week.
Also, to add to the awesomeness, I've had 2 pork pies for breakfast and have a large latte sat in front of me.0 -
Morning all, today I shall be pondering what to buy this month, or whether to save so I can get a new set of wheels next month....
Apart from that a fairly standard monday.Santa Cruz Chameleon

Was up at 6am, avoiding puppy poo at 6.15am, out on my bike by 7am, and just out of the bath 5 minutes ago!

Being Monday I'm quite suprised how well things have gone so far.
I have managed to get the dog walked, bike ridden, showered, rubbish put out, had 4 new tyres fitted to the car on the way to work, eaten breakfast, had two big mugs of tea and it's only 9.20.
Flamin Hot Monstermunch, Sandwich, cake x2 and fruit await for lunchtime.
Other than the usual work annoyance, I feel today will be suprisingly free of mehhh and arghhhhhhhhh.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

I sent some forks back to crc earlier in the year, think it cost me about 12 quid recorded delivery, they were fox floats if that helps compare. I'm not surehow much insurance I had with that mind but depends on how much risk you want to take0 -
Just woken up after 11 hours straight sleep. That's some of the recovery from the weekend complete. Next i'm off for a 50 miler to 'clean' out the system and try to lose to pounds i've put on from a weekend of living off alcohol / pizza / alcohol / KFC / alcohol / chinese / alcohol.
By the way, Canturbury is a good night out with masses of women and Cambridge is a really good night out with top class standard of women. (both are fookin exspensive).+ 1001 posts reset by the cruel cruel moderators!

Yah morning all.
Not wishing to irritate those of you who aren't feeling 100% today but I am literally smoking with pent-up energy and gagging to go out the bike even though I have hardly been off it in the last three days0 -

Sent some Toras a while back 1st class, cost £7 - shouldn't be more than £100 -
Hi everybody!
Firstly, MissBint37 I'd recommend myhermes or hdnl for packaging. Just make sure you package it up well, and it'll be fine.
Today, meh.
That is all.It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Mine's 7 months now and just convalessing from being spayed. She should have her stitches out this afternoon and be back to her normal boundy self in no time...0 -
Still no confirmation email from CRC
Looks like I'll not get my new bike finished by tomorrow now.0 -

I love dogs, my ex had a beagle that got died just after xmas I bought him a new one after muchos whimpering about how he wanted another but couldn't afford it.....he tried to get me to buy a second one for me, as much as I would have loved to I just can't give it the time and attention it needs. His answer was it would live at his house but I had to promise to go there 3 times a week. I politely declined...I think this was a method to trap me really more than anything else, although it was tempting in some ways.
One day....when I move to the mountains and have more time......Ride it like you stole it!0 -

Another 456? :?0 -
Morning all,
Couple of scalps on the way in this morning, a roadie and a hybrid. Am now extra hungry due to pushing it, I was running late anyway.
Quiet weekend in the end. No house moving on Friday so emptied the fish tank out and gave that a good clean, nice and shiny now. Amused by the F1 yesterday, Schuey making a prat of himself on the track and Vettel doing the same off it. Webber for world champ, that’ll be 1 most people didn’t expect.
Today I will be mostly snacking, more supplies will have to be bought at lunchtime.
Tonight I will be mostly ducking. The wife is trying to quit smoking and if it’s anything like last time it’s going to be an interesting few weeks.
Is it time for some more biscuits yet?"I ride to eat"0 -

TBH, we had to do somthing similar with Penny (that's the dog's name). We'd had a dog before, from the pound, who became a central part of the family. When he died, I didn't want a replacement. As both Mrs C and me work full time, it wouldn't be fair.
When the opportunity came up for a puppy, Mrs C made plans with her mother, so that during the day, she goes there, and looks after the Mother-In-Law and then stays with us in the evening and weekends. TBH, this has worked out very well.0 -
Good Morning, study day today off placement and I plan to attempt to do a little bit of studying at least. Firstly thought I have been counting my change, and have £16 which will pay for petrol for the week, woop!0

yeah I thought about the 4 lb mark in old money, so prob in that 10-15 quid bracket depending on what insurances you add, that's if you choose royal mail. Oh and they have got bubble wrap in poundland for a pound I've just been in the brum branch, i'd have picked you some up but then I'd have had to go to the trouble of finding how much it costs to post0 -
Snotty morning everyone, first weekend in months/years i havent ridden?
cought a cold last week from one of the kids and it hit me for six on friday and so i spent the weekend trying to kill it off with Jim Beam.
No new purchases for the bike this week but plenty of investigation as the £5k needed for the garry fisher super fly 100 will be hard to hide from the wife so been looking into the Giant and a rocky mountain. (all 29ers BTW)
anyone had or got a rocky mountain?
oh and i have a pack of marland cookies on my desk0 -

Another 456? :?
Technically, I'm not sure it counts as a new bike. Everything from the 456 is being moved over onto a Mmmbop frame, with the addition of a Joplin and some other tarty bits.
Probably going to be Thursday when it arrives.0 -
Got an 'order dispatched' email from CRC for the Joplin and from Merlin.. so will be Wednesday more than likely.
CWNT - how did you find the Atlas Fr bars - are they as mahoooooosively long as the look - really want a set in blue for the Cotic...0
