Nearly finished, but lack of free time means I've had to leave it at 1868 racing in Llanwrst to have the brake hoses shortened and the gearing fitted and set up. Apologies for the dodgy camera phone pics!

Looking good if you ignore the extra yards of brake hose. No one can say that avid are tight with hose. I bet you're looking forward to your first ride without getting tangled up in hoses.

Not been ridden yet, as hadn't had time to fit the shifter cables & mech. Avid say the hoses are 'average' in length and ready to go out of the box, are they bollox!

Looks like a nice build - hope you're enjoying it 8)
I hate it when people say David Beckham's stupid...its not like anyone ever says: 'Stephen Hawking - he's s**t at football.' Paul Calf

Cheers teacherman - loving it! Had my first big off today as the extra confidence meant I got a bit carried away, going too fast, lost control and went flying over the bars. Luckily a tree stump was there to stop me.

Jay12 - I was only kidding dude!

You`ll love the ride once the shock is set up properly , had 2 canaan`s and while they arent the prettist frame the mongoose range do ride very well indeed ..
I preferred the suspension action of my cannan frame compared to my very expensive Titus !

and lose the green bars :(

No no, keep the green bars, they look awesome and they match the frame color.

stumpym4 - that canaan actually looks pretty good in white! Definitely nicer with the straight top tube. You got rid of them both?

The green bars don't seem to be a popular choice, which just makes me love them more! Definitely not gonna be another one like it. Cheers for the support Xtreem!

Yeah , both are gone now , preferred the white one myself, but unfortunatley i cracked it after only 168 miles and the red one was a replacment frame, wasnt that keen on it to be honest and someone offered me good money for the frame only so i sold it.
But as ive said they do ride very well :D
and wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.
