I'm at the complete opposite end of the scale to you (twice your age and just starting training for road events), so it's nice to read an account of how it's done at the sharp end. 30min warm up! I wonder if pro athletes are just born with the mental wiring to like suffering. Were you an athletic child for as long as you can remember, or is this something you got into recently?

First season? How old are you?

And you're national level? Wow, sounds impressive, I wish I started young and I wish in the same space of time I could have made some accomplishments like it appears you have done!

    Congrats.

Were you second to Jack Finch at the nats? how do you rate him? because hes been pretty average when ive ridden with him on road... (no offence to him, but he must be much better on the mtb?)

And out of interest, did you ride the national road champs?

    Yes i was!

ive beaten him at all the other races, he dosn't seem to be strong on the mtb as far as results are concerned tbh.

yer i did the road champs, im sure i got a top 25 result, even thou they completely cocked the results up.

  • Can't win 'em all.

(Please forgive an old codger for being a pedant, but your blog title should be "Races, Results, Training" with no apostrophes, unless you mean 'the results of my races, and details of training', in which case it should be "Race Results, Training")
