Workers for clothes makers, including Marks and Spencer, want to increase their wages.

So, there have been worker protests, according to Yahoo News.

They wanted up £45 per month, and currently earn around £13 per month.

What! Don't they know this isn't just Slave Labour,

This is " M and S " Slave labour...

  • They need to be careful. M&S will just relocate and they will be left on £0 per month...

Ah, the best thing about the third world is the fact the west can still exploit them at a minimal cost.
If we don't rest assured their less than democratic governments will for a bowl of rice and the crack of a whip if they dare protest..

India got 8% Economic growth, UK 1.5% last year.

I was thinking of going to my local Jnr school, to see it there are some 8yr olds who want to work in my 3.75 acres, all year, 12hr days, for about 50p per day.

    Works over there...

There was a old singer called Glitter,
Who said to a child, with a titter,
    "Come here my Young Boy's,
    I'll give you some toys
If I can put my nob up your shitter..."

    this.

i know they get very little money certainly compared to western standards but what would you rather have? something or nothing?

its brutal yes, but it is better than nothing, these foreign workers can try and find work elsewhere if they want, no one is making them put up with their rubbish wages, they are free to leave as far as i can tell.

Thing is, Brits who have businesses there, India, have to re-apply for a new Visa every 6 months. So, you could sell up here, buy a house/premises there, and still get shafted...

Doesn't make you feel exactly "welcomed", does it?

Even though their wages are really low compared to ours, the cost of living there is lower. so in their terms, it's not as shocking as it sounds to us.
