Memory Maps 2800 GPS compatibility with a MacBook Pro

Having just got a road bike, I'm looking at this GPS to upload routes to for training, but I've a bit of a concern that the software for uploading to the GPS might not work with a MacBook operating system...
I'm just wondering is anyone out there using it on non-windows systems and if so does it work issue free.....????
I've also emailed a couple of retailers and the manufacturers about this and will be back when they reply.....
