Specialized Pitch Comp Stolen - Middlesbrough

Had my Specialized Pitch Comp 2008 stolen on Friday night, car back window was smashed and my medium blue Pitch went, along with other stuff.

Pretty much most things on it are stock - looks like:

Non-stock parts include grey/black Specialized grips, an Intake Vent Air saddle, and a brand newly fitted (unridden) new cassette and SRAM X9.0 rear mech.

Police have been informed, and have the serial number, so please contact the Police if you see this bike around, or advertised anywhere.

    Was this a bad habit you had on leaving the bike prepped up for next day early bike ride by leaving it on the car/truck?

    You mention friday night...

    If I ever take my bike somewhere as soon as I come back it is out of the car ASAP.

    Its like a neighbor that his bike got stolen in his garage, would always brag he leaves the garage door open and it is a safe place, another one was the same and his radio controlled cars were stolen from the garage.

    99% one of your "neighbors" had an eye on your in/out habits, it was a matter of time and opportunity until they got to make it happen.

    Nope, it wasnt a habit - Bike wouldnt have even been in the area but for my g/f returning it from the bike shop in Guisborough (Bike Scene) who had just been fixing it.

    The bike was in the boot of the Mondeo, she had literally only parked up for 10 mins or less to show someone how to feed one of the baby snakes we had recently sold. Expensive snake :-(
