I picked up a BOMB!!!

Well, more than likely!

The two people arrested for "Explosive Offences" yesterday, were from Caernarfon.
They sent an Explosive Device to MI6 in London, according to News sources.

As I'm in the PHG/Office at a Royal Mail sorting centre part time, this parcel would have went through our sorting office, as we cover all the whole Caernarfon region...BLIMEY!!!
Most days I'm sorting for quite a while without any help, as the lads are out on collections.

So, it was me or the lad's, that MUST have handled this at some time recently.
Makes you think a bit.

If it had gone off, I could be known, Posthumously as "SPLATTBOY"...

    This is quite a story. I know that the guys involved have been up to some nefarious things in the past, but I never expected them to be involved in something like that.
    They're pretty well known round here, and everyone knows they're pretty dodgy types, but THIS? Bloody hell :shock:

    Oh, and Splotboy, I hear they've found fingerprints on the parcel from a sus[ected Royal Mail Worker! You're an accesory! :lol:

    i have also picked up a bomb or two in my time, mind you, i knew i was handling a bomb so thats the difference i suppose.

    i will be handling various bombs this week as it happens and hiding them in a cheeky manner to see if my students can find them.

    Out of curiosity, what happens if a student finds one, but not using the metal detector.... :shock:

    mind you, my mate got killed very recently by being hit by a mortar, from our own side!! there is no justice in the world when you are doing an already dangerous job and you die in a million to one chance occurrence.

    it's 3 blokes this year so far that i know but there have been a good few royal engineers, very sad.

    im planning on paying a visit to kitcheners chapel in st pauls cathedral where there is a roll of honour kept up to date, specifically for every royal engineer who dies in service. i only just found out it exists.

    I picked up a bomb once.....it was police academy 5.....I just left in it blockbuster.

    Apparently, most of Caernarfon has been cordoned off today, due to a bomb scare!
    What the hell? What exactly is in Caernarfon that is worth bombing?

    a. Been attacked/chased by aggressive dogs, 5 months off work.

    b. Seen a guy being arressted for attempted muder,

    c. Broken my femur, 3 months off work,

    d. Handled a Bomb, more than likely,

    e. Been visiting, unbeknowns, a Heroin Dealers home,

    Oh, you've actually visited him then? I won't ask why.
    I only met him a few times myself. Last time was at my grandad's funeral.
    Tended to stay away, really, but I know a few people who were connected with him in some way.
