Sastre ain't got much of a chance. Won't be able to go with Vino if he attacks, won't be able to outsprint Sanchez if they stay together.

Sastre has won about 8 or 9 times in his career and i dont think one of them was a sprint out of a small group.

unless they fart about of course

Just as much chance of the chase group farting about. Lots of dead weight already in that group.

I liked the way sastre didn't even bother sprinting

Greggyr, jimmythecuckoo, jp1985 and Rick Chasey. 5 people had Vino... no love for Sastre.

bring back jan and FJS had Rodriguez and Hesjedal respectively, so points there, but I didn't see where they finished.

Annoyed I got in to late to watch this...

    Looking forward to the highlights.

    Nice one LLS.

Sounds like LLS was first to attack and Vino did most of the time in the wind and led out the sprint. That LLS always manages to conserve his energies in those small breaks...

Looks like the race has become one of those post-Tour events where deals get done and some home favourite "wins".

    That's not a happy smile. It's a "I can't believe I just got played like a neo-pro" smile.

He's probably smiling at getting second place because it's an improvement to what he managed less than 24 hours beforehand.
He was at the St. Nicolas Criterium in Belgium and there lost the sprint of three to A-Schleck and Van den Broeck.
  • thanks for the video links - you just have love vino, he always tries.
