Waterproofs - what do pro riders use?

Riding in summer rain is a pain, every waterproof I've tried ends up in a battle tween whether I get wet from sweat on the inside, or rain from the outside, or both. That got me thinking - what do the pros wear? A lot of them had waterproofs on during the Giro, and I can't believe it was that cold that you wouldn't need something very breathable.

Anyone got any ideas?

I find it's more important to keep warm than dry.

If it's going to rain I prefer having a base layer or a windproof layer. Both will give you some water resistance in light showers and will dry quickly. They are also very breathable compared to waterproofs.

If it buckets down then you are going to get wet anyway.

Firstly they are going fast so generating m oreheat but they tend to get wetter from bunch riding due to the spray. Gilet and arm/leg warmers seem the preferred option as this gives more chance to shed layers. Also long sleeve jerseys in fleece.
