Bottom bracket upgrade

Hi,

I'm looking at upgrading the whole groupset on my Trek 1.5 to shimano 105 in the next couple of months. It currently has a square taper bottom bracket fitted, is there any issues with changing over to a 105 hollowtech bottom bracket or is it straightforward swap??

It might be worth having the BB threads chased and the frame faced (or at least checked)

Apart from that it's a straightforward swap.

If the frame hasn't been faced then it really should be, the easiest thing is to take the cranks off and ask your lbs to swap the bb over and face the frame at the same time.
