Hi....ive recently purchased a trek fuel ex6 and its my first full suss bike....so far im impressed with the weight , build and the look....but the rides a different matter....
Over rough straight terrain with roots and rocks thrown in its fine...But when i want to go around bends at speed it just feels like its trying to straighten up and just generaly feels all wrong....I used to ride a 13 yr old giant hardtail with v brakes and it was quicker and easier to turn and i felt more confident in the bends.....
The treks running wider tyres 26x2.30 tiogas
,rock shox recons, and rock shox mc3.3 rear...
and i weigh in at 17 stone with the shox set at 200psi in the rear and 150 in the front.....
any advice greatfully received.....as i just wana get back on my giant after riding the runway at carron valley today.......
