buying a second hand joplin?

as the title says, would anyone reccomend it? i know that some have problems with seals etc. do you think that'd be a problem if i bought one second hand from e bay?

I wouldn't touch it with yours. There's a decent chance the seller's just offloading it because he's sick of it.
