north lancashire event 29th july?

can anyone tell me what the event was passing through Carnforth at 9.30am ish 29/7/10, who the organizers were, and how I can contact them?

    Was it a TT or race or charity fundraiser? Most amateur things are held at weekend

    not sure. Had about 25 riders and a support van following.

    no. they were great and cheerful.
    The man following in the support van was waving traffic through where it simply wasnt safe to pass, then being abusive when people refused to pass.
    The group on the bikes were great. but I dont like being shouted at by van drivers especially if they put the group in danger.

    Sounds like a group doing LEJOG (or JOGLE if going the other way)

    Usually though they'd have charity/sponsored jerseys and stickers on the van.
