without doubt whinlatter!0

Grizedale, but don't do the NFT, get a map or GPS and do some of the awesome natural stuff!0

decided to go for whinlatter
set off at 5:45 this morning and arrived there for 7:30, very wet with drizzle but started to brighten up
very rocky not much traction at all but it was a learning curve, excellent ride on both loops wihich gave some toe-curling moments
some lengthy climbs but the descents were well worth it
would recommend, only disappointment was the car park fee (£5 for 4 hours :x )0 -

But then it is free to ride, and don't suppose you took any time out to help maintain the trails??
Sorry, my pet hate - twenty-odd kilometres of well maintained and free-to-ride trails and people whinge about having to pay to park...0 -

I agree.
I used to ride at Gisburn lots (which is free), but it's a bit of a state now. I'd happily pay £2-3 to park if it meant full time repairs of the track!0
