So Im just back from a mates who gave me £350 for an old bike.
Im thinking of getting some Hope Hoops with some new tyres.
Dont really need em i have Crossrides that are fine, but I like the idea of changeable axels as thinking of some 36s in the future.
plus i want the awesome engagement noise!
should i?

Giant VT 5.7 inch travel..... mixture of: XT mechs and cassette - Hone 2 and a bash with Blackspire Stinger - Sunline V one bars - Fox Van 32s.
Kind of a freeride lite set up. Did a set of stairs recently that completely loosened about 8 spokes....got me thinking the XC wheels arent made for this0 -
if your riding is getting heavier then yeah why not? Sell the current wheels while they still work and help pay for the new ones. better than the other way, fooking up the current set and then buying new ones.0
