Hey All,
I’ve not had much chance to get onto the internet on a really good connection, but here I am at the top of Scotland at Bettyhill at the end of stage 26 of The Great Tour, a 64 day event http://www.thegreattour.org

I’m not sure when I’ll get back onto te internet again, but if you get chance do check out my blog, courtesy of Qoroz http://www.qoroz.co.uk/tour
It has been a stunning tour so far and the first time that I have undertaken 64 days cycling without a day off!

I’ll not write too much here, but just wanted to say “thanks” to all the cyclists that have encouraged us on our way all along the east coast of England and Scotland. Tomorrow we start heading south again and only 38 days until we finish in Seaton, Devon!

We reached halfway today, so that's 32 days competed and 2200 miles under our tyres.

It would be great to get some comments on the blog http://www.qoroz.co.uk/tour/

    Hi Euskadi,

Thanks for your message. It is an amazing Tour and so far all is going well, with 7 weeks complete and 2 to go. You can see a full spec of the bike here http://www.qoroz.co.uk/roadwon I have added a rear guard, a rack and two panniers and in addition changed the rear cassette to give my legs and knees a chance over the 64 days. I've got a massive dinner plate (34) on the back that has been such a help on the steep hills that bit by bit sap your strength.

The bike has been the bee's knees and attracted so much attention. I've found it to be fast and comfortable.
    Cheers
    Alistair

It does look a lovely bike, I'm very tempted by a Road Won, you're recommendation is very valuable. I hope you'll be writing up your experiences in more detail some time after you've finished? Look forward to reading more!

Thanks Euskadi. It has been a fantastic tour and now we have completed 54 days/stages with only 10 to go, the end is now in sight. That said, Devon and Cornwall with all of their hills await us!

I hope to write up a more detailed report on the Road Won when more time permits and will post it here.
