London MTB shops

Will be in London for a day or two.Usually buy most of my stuff from CRC,but would like to visit a good proper bikeshop to see/touch stuff in person as opposed to looking at pictures of parts on the CRC website.Plus seeing stuff in real life leads to a impulse buy (or 3) and I have a few quid burning a hole in my pocket.Anyone reccomend a good MTB shop, don't mind where it is in London as long as there's a tube station within a mile of it.Thanks in advance.

The Evans West End store is pretty big - about 10,000 sq.feet. Less than 5 mins walk from Oxford circus tube."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

There's also an Evans store (which handles mainly MTB stock) over the road from Waterloo Station in Waterloo Rd.
Another slightly smaller Evans just off Bishopsgate in the old Spitalfields Market area, < 5 minutes walk from Liverpool St station. My abundant supply of MTFU is reserved for use in dry, sunny conditions.0 -
. . . also CycleSurgery at Old Spitalfields market, and Action Bikes (?) under the Arches outside Embankment underground station. My abundant supply of MTFU is reserved for use in dry, sunny conditions.0

If you do go there note that CycleSurgery will price match online prices. I've bought stuff from them before and said "it costs this much at CRC, can I have it for that price" - they will look it up online then and there and if it's in stock will match the price.0
