decisions, decisions,help appreciated

Hi guys I am looking at the specialized allez 16 and the allez elite,was wondering is it wiser to buy the 16 and upgrade later about a year down the line with 10 speed 105, or go for the elite the now which has tiagra components 9 speed.The elite also has the mavic wheels as the 16 has got alex rims.

any help appreciated

My own view is get the best now, rather than faff about!

It'll cost more to upgrade later, so I'd go for it now.
