Can he do it? And heck he might even try for the World Championships too> ;)

A while back he said he was going to do both in 2011:

And just recently, he seems to have reconfirmed this.
“Although it’s quite a complicated task to take on two major tours in a season because of the long-lasting fatigue that you’re guaranteed to face, in 2011 I will attempt this once again,” he said.

I would have said before the tour that yes he could do it, but no he would never try to do the double.
Now I am not even sure he could as I feel Andy has improved more than expected and would beat a tired Contador in the tour if Contador was after doing the giro.
    Witness Basso & Evans.

You mean the guy who was sick as a dog and the guy with the broken elbow?

think we need to wait until the route is announced for both before we can say.

I said in the other thread I said the Contador of 09 can do it but not the one from this year.

Would love to see him have a crack at it and I read comments from the Giro earlier that said Contador was riding in 11.

Guess he needs to sort his team out first though.

    LOL, exactly.

It will be hard though, but I say if he combines with Riis, he can do it.
