Is it just me or do you wish you had one of these constantly following you around recording all your riding:

Which if it is, MAKES IT EVEN COOLER!
  • True. I managed to make a pneumatic truck out of Lego Technic when I was a kid, but never a HELICOPTER MOUNTED CAMERA. That would be rad to the sickness!

15 minutes is incredibly poor, a big bulky battery would hamper it an awful lot though.
  • 15 minutes is still long enough for a DH run though provided it could keep up.

I doubt it would be able to film the whole run though, through the trees etc. Having to change the battery or charge it up every 15 minutes if you wanted to film more than a few runs would be annoying though.

15 mins is time enough to fly narcotics and mobile phones over the walls of prisons to supply the inmate--oh sh!t

And you need the camera to film the whole thing so you can show it off to your mates? ;)

It would be fine if Luke Skywalker were piloting it though. You wouldn't be able to do it because the pilot would need to have sight of the helicopter throughout, so you might as well just mount the camera in the vehicle the pilot is in!

And I doubt it could carry much drugs!

The camera is used for "artistic" matters, in which case only 3 minutes of battery time are required

Funnily enough, 20 minutes is about the limit of how long you can record video on an EOS 5D, and people are wetting themselves at the excitement of that.
