Kinesis Maxlight XC
My Kinesis Maxlight project. It has taken a bit of time and quite alot of cash injection, but I am happy.

Kinesis Maxlight easton xc frame
Marzocchi MX Pro ETA forks
Hope Pro 2 hubs on Mavic XC717 wheels DT Swiss spokes
Answer carbon bars
Raceface dues stem
Panaracer cinder 2.1 tyres
Hope head doctor
Specialized race saddle
Tioga seatpost
Truvativ isoflow cranks with deore rings
Hayes So1e brakes with 160 discs
Yeti grips
Deore chain
Deore cassette
Deore rear mech
Deore front mech
Deore shifters
Shimano SPD pedals

Nice, I used to have one of those frames, but felt my riding was getting a bit too gnarly for it. I sold the whole bike to a mate, I wish I hadn't now as I miss it!0

Yeh they're awesome bikes. They feel so flickable and handle like a dream.

By the way - Sold my old 2008 deore shifters and new 2010 ones are on the way, so i have to make do with my old alivios.

Hopefully mine will end up like that soon

Next upgrade for me, white fox f120s, white stroker trails and carbon seatpost.

even ebay isnt that cheap for main parts like brakes or forks.
But when you compare it to a car then....YES it does seem cheap lol

Welcome to the Kinesis club.
I've had mine for around 4-5 years. Don't be fooled by the XC moniker, they're more trail than XC designed as a fun bike (short top tube) and to handle the odd dropoff.
Is that the the original Maxlight XC as it was intended to run 100mm travel forks?0 -

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yeh its designed for 100m forks. I have 120mm forks but have eta so I just turn them down to 1000 -
