Mountain Bike hire in Manchester

I have a mate coming over and he wants to join me mountain biking one evening at Lee quarry near Rossendale, Lancs.
I'm based in Manchester, does anyone know of anywhere hiring mountain bikes in the area? I've tried a few shops but no one seems to know anything

Easy to find, but parking can be a bit iffy.

Other option is to get a demo bike to try. I borrowed a Zesty 514 for 3 days last year for £40. I was considering buying one, so it wasn't a complete piss-take.
