Trek EX8 - which wheelset next?

I have a 2008 EX8 and im looking to upgrade the bonty Race tubless wheelset..

I did like the Hope PRO 3 AM4 but was told these wouldnt fit the trek?

Is this true?

Any help appreciated.

Would consider a 2nd handset if in good nick.
