I am looking to buy some talas 36's but i want white ones, all i can find in my price range currently are black ones.

Is there any way that i can get them powder coated or sprayed white.

Thanks Neil

Shouldn't be a problem, I've seen red 40's on one occasion so it is definatly possible to do.

I think you just need to mask off the uppers (or even better take them off and give them a service at the same time and just mask off the holes) and then get them sprayed

You'll want to totally disassemble them, remove seals etc, then plug with newspaper or sommat, just masking won't really work. Can definitely be done though.

Just thought, you will want the crown done as well.

That will be harder to do since you can't seperate them from the stanchions and if masking is not possible....

You could carefully mask the crown, that's easy enough to do, you just can't with the lowers properly as there's too many nooks and crannies and what not. It would be virtually impossible to properly do the lowers without getting overspray on the seals/stantions.

Yeh my main problem was spraying the uppers, i think it would be tricky to mask of the adjustment dials i think unless i can remove them?

You can remove them but your not meant to touch the TALAS stuff.

You could get TF of Mojo to remove it, send them off to be sprayed and then reasemble for you

I think that would end up being quite pricey i think, i am considering just getting my frame sprayed instead and keeping the forks black.

If it was a Van or Float it should be fine, its just that you shouldn't touch the TALAS stuff which makes it awkward
