A good deal from the LBS?

I'm about to be commuting 15 miles a day so I sent the bike into the shop for a tune-up and repair.

I had a new rear gear cable, a new 22/32/42 chainset, a new 8 speed cassette and a new bottom bracket fitted. Also an all over service.

It took an hour and a half of labour and cost me £130.

Good deal or not?

No, I'd only just put a new one on myself.

    Seems pretty fair.

If the drivetrain they put on was Dura Ace or Super Record then change your phone number and don't answer the door for a while!
