I've just inherited a Pete Matthews from the mid-80s. It's made from 531 pro tubing, has beautiful lugwork and is equipped with a mixture of period shimano 600 and more modern Campag. I can't find anything about the builder online apart from the fact that he is from Liverpool.

It looks like a nice bike but how nice?

    Pete shut up shop about 4 years ago, he was a reknown framebuilder, wheelbuilder and comedian too. He may still work from home though - I bough some spokes from him a few years ago
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
