Hi,

I'm new to road riding but have done some dirty MTB stuff in the past. I'm lucky enough to be riding a Pinarello FP2 105 which I’m really pleased with and pleasantly surprised with the ride comfort having come off 2.1” knobblies.

This site has already been a great source of information and members seem only too happy to offer some good advice (with a slice of sarcasm as and when required, but all in good humour). I’m hoping to build up enough fitness to keep my motivation going through the winter, and aiming to do be able to complete some longer rides before the days get too short.

I look forward to asking some daft questions and having my stupidity pointed out to me in public, but I will try to search the site for info before asking questions which have already been flogged to death.

I am based in North Wales and would be happy to tag along on weekend/evening rides with anyone of similar ability (currently 30 – 50 miles @ 14/15mph av.)

Cheers
