Stick it in a box with a dehumidifier. If you don't have one of those kicking about, maybe try those little sachets of ... erm ... stuff. Y'know, the things that come with shoes and that. :?

I had this with mine, only it was dripping wet inside. The screen and then the device itself failed. Sent it back to Garmin for a free replacement even though it was outside of its warranty.
    More problems but still living....

Me too. I messed about for ages putting it in a warmish dry atmosphere. Nothing worked so I returned it to Wiggle for a relacement - no probs.
  • I killed my Edge in the rain on the Paris Roubaix sportive, it filled up with Water and wouldn't work. I dried it out in the airing cupboard initially then left it plugged into the charger turned on for a couple of days and it dried out and worked but not reliably.

Contacted Garmin (3 months outside warranty) and they replaced it for 65quid with a new unit.

    Luckily mine was within warranty.
