Friendly Folk In Yorkshire

I take what i said last week back.
Yorkshire isn't full of friendly people.
On my 22 miles before tea tonight i saw one horse rider, a walker and about 20 cyclists (two large groups and one bloke on his own) The horse rider, walker and solo cyclist said hello. Neither of the other two groups even looked at me (one group was stood still so you can't say they were too busy)
Is it snobbery because i ride a halfords special Carrera tdf, wear a £5 running top from lidl or because one shoe has duct tape to hold the velcro down.
I'm not asking for a chat, just a smile would be nice! We share a common interest!
/end rant

I agree. If it had been duck tape then they would have spoken.0 -
If you're not wearing an Assos flat cap under your helmet and towing a Whippet or Jack Russell on a leather lead, then you're not a real Yorkshire Roadie.
I should know... I've even got some tiny Mavic t'overshoes for my Jack Russell.Ben
