Very quick question, that's probably soooo easy for people who understand shimano lingo.... so this is going in cake stop.

What's the difference between Ultegra 6600 and Ultegra 6650 ?

I finally figured out the difference between a double and a compact today.....

oh, 6650 is the compact?? I'm sure I saw wiggle lay out the compact as a 3rd option in the chainsets section.... maybe not then I dunno.

    Ultegra 6x00 = "standard" double 52/39
    Ultegra 6x03 = triple 52/39/30
    Ultegra 6x50 = "compact" double 50/34

FWIW I have both 6650 and 6750 (on different bikes) and the 6750 is "wikkid" with the internal cable routing, but the hoods seem to be less comfortable (well, the small - uncovered - gap on the back is anyway), and functionally they pretty much seem to be identical...
