I'm hoping to ride a portion of the Downslink at the weekend. It'll be with the missus and kids so will probably do a 15 mile section from Cranleigh to Partridge Green.

I've not done any of it yet and dont have the relevant maps. How easy is it to follow via the signs enroute?

I road the Downslink last year and have to say that it's relatively easy to follow but packing the relevant Explorer is always handy.

Got a little confused on the bit of road just before Bluecoats but other than that a good trail for a leisurely ride or even a flat out run for the coast.

Thanks for the reply. We did a section of it today (Cranleigh to Slinfold) and found it very well signposted. I got the OS map out from the local library but it stayed in the rucksack.

I'd like to do all 36 odd miles one day but as I'm riding it with the family we're having to break it down into sections. As it crosses both North and South Downs it could be incorporated into a round route as I had to double up the mileage today to go back to the car.
