Calling all women mountain bikers—let your voices be heard!
Sacred Rides, one of North America’s leading mountain bike adventure companies, is undertaking a comprehensive survey about women and mountain biking. The results of the survey will be shared publicly to help encourage more women to take up mountain biking, and guide the growth of mountain biking and supporting industries.

Makes you think a bit really doesn't it? Having always biked when weather too rubbish for climbing in my beautiful home terrain of North Wales (quite often really) am now getting out on my bike more than climbing. The thing I really notice is that mountain biking reminds me of climbing 20 years ago in terms of numbers of women out on the trails and their noticeable under- representation in the mags and in terms of specific clothes and gear in general.
Now in the climbing world, it's pretty much equal i would say... hopefully the mtb world will catch up sooner!
