Driving towards Brecon today on the A470 just north of Merthyr and noticed the Garwnant visitors center. Had a quick drive around and it looks like they've spent a lot of money there recently with a new visitor center etc. Has anyone ever ridden there. It says they cater for MTB'ers with a designated trail etc? Done a quick google but can't find to much info on it.

Cheers

Will do. Might take the eldest boy up on the weekend for a scout around.

  • Did you manage to find a cycle route into garwnant from merthyr?
  • Here you are guys, fair bit of info for anyone interested in Garwnant - http://www.trailguru.co.uk/mountain-bik ... nant-wales

There are two short trails and one tiny bike park for kids. Worth a stop-off if riding elsewhere in the area.
