my wheels are getting wobbly and they are v heavy too so an upgrade looks on the cards
current options within my (meagre) £150 budget:
Halo Mercury Rear - £126 with an old Aksium front for about £40
Fulcrum Racing 5 - £150 £165 for shimano (set)
Mavic Aksium - £135 (set)
Shimano RS30 - £135 (set)
Easton Vista - £165 (set)

building them myself is not an option as i am shit at it.

Also have a look at planet x model b wheels. Light for the price and they seem to get pretty good reviews from the folk on here that have them.

There have been a few requests for wheel advice in the last week in the £150-200 bracket. The Planet X Model B have varying reviews so have a look at what people are saying on those forums. It certainly put me off the Planet X and more towards Easton models

I was very keen to buy the Planet X B wheels.
    Reviews say they are great.
However from what I have read there is a chace they aint going to last.
Customer service has also been highlighted.

How heavy are you?, I was steered away from Planet X model B's by Planet X themselves as I am the wrong side of 14 stone.

    I went for Eastons instead.

I've got planet x model b's and I'm well the wrong side of 14 stone (by a couple of stone!!) they seem light enough and plenty stiff enough when stamping on the pedals out of the saddle, so far so good. They don't look too pimp though, a bit cheap looking, but I can't complain for £124.
