Training - book recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good book on training, please, possibly with a bias towards TT events?
Did Sunday's Richmond Park TT, and was somewhat disappointed to finish a full minute and a half slower than last time. Bike and conditions were the same, and I actually thought I'd paced myself a little better this time, so it has to be a difference in fitness (though I'm surprised to discover I'm significantly less fit than I was in June).
Since my training schedule basically consists of bombing to work and back (14 miles each way) flat out, I'm sure there's quite a lot of room for improvement.
I know that coaching would get me a better result, but I don't have the money for that, and there must be some good books out there...

I recently bought The Time-crunched Cyclist: Fit, Fast and Powerful in 6 Hours a Week (£10).
It has largely favourable reviews. Haven't read it yet, mind.0 -
I've got this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cyclists-Traini ... 1934030201
Quite a lot of good stuff in there. Gets consistently good reviews etc0 -
Thanks guys! I looked up one on Amazon and it offered me a deal for the two together, so I've ordered both :-)
I always fall for those clever marketing tricks...Pannier, 120rpm.0 -
I've definitely fallen for that particular Amazon trick - they might be 'frequently bought together' but it's still the price of one book added to the other.0

I've just started reading it. Pretty good so far. Got a couple of days off and it looks like rain so should get though it.0
