His mother took his comfort blanket off him too soon.

Good thing procreation can't take place in this instance, so nature will correct itself eventually.

Who, ugly, fat object fetishists? I'll apologise if someone posts a picture to show that they are ugly and fat, together with the object of their fetishism.

    Nope.

By stating that nature will correct it's self, you are implying that this is an abnormality, and procreation is the norm which nature intended. ie those who can't / won't procreate due to not being attracted to the opposite sex (or even opposite sex of any species in this case) are an abnormality / flaw / mistake in nature. So, would you say the same about homosexuality ?

I'd like to make it clear, before I get my head torn off, that this isn't my view. I just don't agree that nature will correct it's self. If that is the case, explain homosexuality........... whilst trying not to offend !

Nah it was something like Louis Theroux. The documentary followed this guy's sexual obsession with cars and he actively masterbated over cars he found 'attractive'.

Slight flaw to your argument, Matt. Homosexuality is not hereditary... so although two homosexuals will tend not to procreate (okay a gay fella may procreate with a lesbian woman, but you mentioned sexual attraction so let's assume they don't want to) this does not spell the end of homosexual people in the world's population. Although that will upset a few bigots and extremists, it makes the whole thing rather a moot point.

As for the afflicted members of society - like the fella in the original post - well if people like him did procreate to the same extent as people in the 'normal' end of society's spectrum, then as a world civilisation we'd be up sh1t street; too busy f***ing pillows and w@nking over cars to get anything done.

As it happens, 'normal' tends to out. Survival of the fittest/most suited/strongest.

I remember reading about a bloke in Sweden who liked to have relations with saddles on women`s bikes, but then who hasn`t had that urge at some time or another ?

That's pretty much what I was saying (maybe I didn't word it very well ?)
    To sumarise it:
As I understood Sirius631 had stated that nature would correct it's self, implying that Objectum Sexuality (OS) was an abnormality. ie, they had a desire to form a lasting, emotional and sexual relationship with an object that can't procreate. Assuming that OS was hireditory (which it isn't) then nature would correct it's self and the condition would wipe it's self out.
You could (if you were so inclined) say the same about homosexuality. ie a gay man forms a lasting, emotional and sexual relationship with another man, therefore they can't procreate (together). If homosexuality was hireditory, then nature would theoretically correct it's self.

but as we know, the world isn't quite like that. So, I think my point was the same as yours, and my original comment (the one which Cleat Eastwood saw as a humour failure) was just subtly pointing out that people may notice that Sirius631's comment could be misconstrued.

Clearly that was too subtle for Cleat, so he resorted to abuse.

The point was that it wasnt subtle at all. It was a blatant overreaction to what was a lighthearted comment in a light hearted thread. Apologies if you thought it was abusive, it was more of a *snigger* isnt that matt a bit serious, kind of thing.

By the way theres no such word as hireditory.:lol::lol:
