Left luggage

Hi All,
We're planning a first attempt at touring abroad iin late September, following one of the commonly advertised self tour routes through northern Italy. We're planning to fly
in and out of Verona but struggling to decide what to do with our bike bags whilst we are actually cycling (we both have semi rigid cases so it's not possible to take them with us). Has anyone had experience of leaving bike bags in left luggage either at airports or train stations?
We're quite pushed for time so plan to catch the train straight up into the Dolomites on the day we fly in so won't actually be staying in Verona until nearly a week later so it might be a little cheeky to ask, but the obvious alternative would be if anyone could recommend a cycle friendly hotel/b&b in Verona that might look after them for us?!
Any suggestions very welcome!

The problem with left luggage places is that they are geared to short stays - and the charges would mount quickly up.
Your best bet, as you say, is to find a hotel that will store the cases until you arrive.
You could try this website:

or even the Verona Amici di Bici:

Oh and if you are going via Feltre the guy who runs the Park Hotel is friendly and helpful and the hotel is very handy for the station.
Where are you going by the way (I'm in feltre at the moment).0
