Selkirk Merida event ?
I have done a few mountain bike Meridas (ChainReaction now) but I have never tried the Selkirk event. It seems to be popular and has good reviews but what's the biking like there? It'd be a four hour drive for me and I'm trying to decide to make the journey or not.
I don't enjoy cycling across moorland. I did not like the Builth Wells event as it was a lot of slogging across wet moorland with pretty dull scenery. I much prefer forest single track and good long, steep climbs on fire roads. I love the trails in Coed-y-Brenin, Betws-y-Coed and Ruthin. And Austria !
