womens hardtail for around £550

Looking for a hardtail for my girlfriend. She has been having a look on the various websites and has spotted the 3 below. My preferance is properly for the felt but what else is aviable, which is the best?

female specific would be prefered, something that will be confidence inspiring and good for short techy rides in the woods and for all day epics on the moors.

The spesh would be my choice, however another one to look at is the Marin Bear Valley..

the 2009 is available at £370 ish but most have only got small's ....plus it's pink !! the 2010 retails at £575 so a bit of a bargain for the 09...

IMO the one from cyclestore is not as good as the others great but the other two are pretty similar but I assume you are not buying from Evans as the sizes they have in stock for the two you have linked to are very different.

Dont get tied to women specific either. Small mens sizes are often a better fit (and can be cheaper / get more for your money). As always you need to get her to try some bikes out.

Some manufacturers tend to go overboard with the short top/seat tube thing. mrs blitz has a 17" Hoo Koo E Koo and it is just fine. Best bet is to visit your lbs and try some for size - the bike that feels right from the start will be the one.
