Hi. This request may seem a bit odd, but can anyone recommend a really easy route for a one night camping trip in South Wales, UK? I want to keep things simple to avoid any mishaps and that may convince my wife to go on longer treks with me in the future!!!
Many thanks in advance of replies.
(wild camping is preferable)

There is a Sustrans route which follows an old railway line up one of the valleys from Port Talbot (ish). It goes past the Glyncorrwyg mountain bike centre where there is a campsite plus B&Bs within easy reach. Worth checking out?

You're trying to convince your wife to go on longer treks with you: but instead of going to a B&B, or a campsite with hot showers etc etc, you want to take her wild camping. Somehow I think there might be a flaw in your plan.

Cheers for your reply. Actually, bizarrely enough, she wants to wild camp!! Too complicated to go into here, but I'm up for it. Thanks for the Port Talbot tip.
