routes with hills for a beginner in North Wales

I am returning to road biking after the best part of 15 years and have just bought myself a Trek 1.2. I used to love the challenge of digging in and dragging myself up a hill. I am looking to cycle in to North Wales from Chester (or alternatively drive to a suitable start) and spend 3 or so hours in the saddle, with some challenging climbs for a beginner with a good fitness level. Does anyone out there have any good suggestions?

Thanks for that, that looks like a great course, just what i am after. Do you know if there is anyway i can download that route onto my phone if it has google maps and a gps on it? Would be better than printing off the map and cue sheet if it was possible.0
