hi all,
i've got a bit of a dilema. im looking at getting a carbon seatpost for my focus, but seem to be going round in circles. im looking at spending about £80 and after much trawling through websites thought i'd found the ideal one -
3T Doric Team Carbon Seatpost.
however the review on bikeradar only gives it 2 stars, heres the link to the review
http://www.bikeradar.com/mtb/gear/categ ... post-33782
this isn't very encouraging as its a fair wedge to be parting with. does anyone have any experience with this post, or has anyone got any other recommendations around this price mark?
any help/advice is greatly appreciated
cheers

those 3T are very hard to set up and a friend of mine has problems with the saddle rails slipping in the clamp.
buy easton, cant go wrong with easton and the ec70 is around the price you were looking at.

I'd say Easton or Race Face, not 100% sure of prices though. Try Merlin cycles.'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0

thanks very much for the replies fellas.
jairaj, thats a great saving, crazy when you think the only difference between that and the 3t is the badge!! just a shame they seem fiddly to set up and there is a chance of the rails slipping.
i've had easton posts before and got their bars on the mtb, never had any problems with them. so it looks like im sorted. thanks for the link stuy-b, i only need a 300mm with a 31.6 diameter which they don't have so ill have a trawl in a bit
thanks again
