advice on suitability of ghost speedline for commute

This is my first post, I'm someone considering trying to commute by bike a couple of days a week, I am considering getting a ghost speedline 5700 (just tried a few bikes out and preferred the riding position of this the most).
I'd never really heard of them before today so does anyone have any opinion on the suitability for use as a 10 mile each way commuter along english roads, hence my choice of something with reasonably sized tyres.
I've also tried a trek fx7.3 and a Fahrrad T100 both of which were big improvements on my ancient giant explorer but both seemed to have a more 'upright' riding position that the ghost.
Is there anything else I should be considering ?
