i have my arm in cast and im getting frustrated.
i have had sugery and been stitched back together.
anyway i want to exercise, i was thinking of going out on my bike 1 handed or using a turbo trainer.
will the sweat do any harm to where ive been stitched up and how much will it take to deform my casting?

Best to avoid putting any pressure or tension on the wound until it's healed but a bit of light excercise can help circulation and if it makes you feel better, I think a positive frame of mind is an important part of the healing process.0 -
you could probably get away with the turbo trainer, but, your cast will stink as you won't be able to clean the sweat away, really minging.
boyfriend had his thumb in a cast for 8 weeks. As it was only ligament/tendon damage he tried to get specialist cast from america that he could do exercise in but wasn't able to source one. They're pretty cool, you heat them in the oven then they mould to you as they cool and harden. They have a boa so that you can then take them on and off when you want so that you can wash both the cast and your hand/leg etc. Problem wasn't importing them, it was that they would only sell to medical practitioners :roll:0
