another flippin groupset question sorry about that.

im sora at the moment on my allez. thought long and hard about keeping it that way and swapping it for a new complete bike, but that would cost more than it would to upgrade the low end groupset. the frame and wheels i have are supposed to be good, i put some mavic askiums on.

i'd like to buy the groupset in stages, shimano 105 black.

when fitting levers, does that have to be matched up with the same front and rear derailleur?
if so i may as well get the whole groupset at the same time.
what may add complication is that i am considering changing to double from triple.

thanks for your patience.

It's normally loads cheaper to just buy the groupset in one go.

Shifter, Cassette and chain is the minimum you normally need, but personally I'd just do it all in one go.
