    Merida make loads too, are the second or third biggest maker in the world. They make all the Spesh frames. Infact they have a big share in Spesh.

    im not too fussed about halfords and their decisions to sell rubbish bikes.

    people want what they want and invariably what they want is cheap bikes, halford know this and sell what people want to buy.

    lets not forget, none of us have to shop there.

    that said, i think some the of the carrera range is excellent looking and if you get the timing right, there are massive bargains to be had.
